Day-by-Day Details

Day 1: Arrival in San Pedro

Fly to Belize City, where you’ll meet your travel director. Take a water taxi to San Pedro and check in to your hotel. Spend the afternoon exploring the vibrant town before enjoying a welcome dinner.

Day 2: Snorkeling Adventure in San Pedro

Start the morning snorkeling at Hol Chan Marine Reserve and Shark Ray Alley, where you can swim alongside sharks, rays, and colorful coral reefs. In the afternoon, kayak through mangroves and visit a local chocolate-making workshop.

Day 3: Travel to San Ignacio

Begin the day with a water taxi back to Belize City. Board a private bus to the Community Baboon Sanctuary to observe Black Howler Monkeys in their natural habitat. Continue to The Belize Zoo, followed by a stop at St. Herman’s Blue Hole National Park for a refreshing swim in the cenote or a cave hike. Arrive in San Ignacio in the evening for dinner and overnight.

Day 4: San Ignacio and Actun Tunichil Muknal (ATM) Cave

In the morning, visit the Green Iguana Conservation Project to learn about local iguana preservation efforts. Then, explore the Actun Tunichil Muknal (ATM) Cave, known for its ancient Mayan artifacts and intricate cave formations. Return to St. Herman’s Blue Hole National Park for another swim before dinner and overnight in San Ignacio.

Day 5: Tikal Day Trip

Cross the border into Guatemala for a full-day excursion to Tikal, an iconic Mayan archaeological site. Explore the ancient ruins, learn about Mayan history, and enjoy sightings of wildlife. Return to San Ignacio in the evening for overnight.

Day 6: Journey to Placencia

Depart San Ignacio and visit Billy Barquedier National Park for a short hike and a dip in a waterfall. Continue your journey to Placencia, where you can relax on the beach before spending the night.

Day 7: Hiking and Ziplining in Placencia

Spend the morning hiking at Cockscomb Basin Wildlife Sanctuary, also known as the Jaguar Reserve. In the afternoon, enjoy a thrilling ziplining experience near Placencia, followed by leisure time on the beach.

Day 8: Red Bank and Garifuna Culture

Head to Red Bank in the morning to observe Scarlet Macaws in their natural habitat. In the afternoon, immerse yourself in Garifuna culture with a drumming or cooking activity in Seine Bight Village. End the day with more time on the beach.

Day 9: Monkey River Tour and Belize City

Take a Monkey River Tour to explore mangroves and spot wildlife, including manatees, howler monkeys, and crocodiles. Travel back to Belize City for your final night, culminating in a farewell dinner.

Day 10: Departure

Conclude your Belize adventure and depart from Belize City
