Creating unforgettable learning experiences

It’s been an amazing and rewarding travel season so far in 2018 at Hart Travel Partners. I am very proud of the life-changing travel experiences we have created — together with faculty — for students from many parts of the country.

Earlier this year, for example, while studying religion and sustainability in India, HTP students and faculty visited Navdanya Biodiversity Farm, where they met the incomparable Dr. Vandana Shiva, an influential and outspoken environmental activist. They also witnessed the inspiring Hindu Ceremony of Light, or Arti, along the banks of the Ganges River in Haridwar.

Meanwhile, on a culinary program in Paris, students learned to cook chicken a l’orange, a variation on a classic French recipe. Other students and faculty of HTP programs focused on global business in Spainthe Roman Empire in Italy and even Jane Austen in England.

Our traveling faculty raved about how their students returned home not only with a greater appreciation for the programs’ subjects — and the cultures they visited — but also with unforgettable learning experiences.

“Overall the trip was fantastic and a huge success. The students were able to see and experience so many things. The diversity in locations, accommodations and activities is what truly made this program great.” — Kara H. (India, January 2018)

At HTP, we pride ourselves on creating those one-of-a-kind experiences on every one of our faculty-led study abroad programs. We customize every program to fit the academic needs of each individual group — whether it’s culinary history in Spainsustainability in Costa Rica or general culture in Morocco — and work with faculty to create those unique, memorable experiences.

We are already busy creating rewarding programs for 2019. If you’re planning a faculty-led program or if you just have an inkling of an idea or a dream destination, we can tailor a one-of-a-kind itinerary to your curriculum and your students’ academic needs.
