Day by Day Details

DAY 1: OVERNIGHT FLIGHT

  • Board your overnight flight from the United States to Paris.

DAY 2: PARIS

  • Arrive in Paris’ Charles de Gaulle airport.

  • Meet your Travel Director, and transfer to your centrally located hotel for check-in.

  • Get your first taste of Paris on an Orientation Walk followed by a delicious dinner.

DAY 3: PARIS


  • This morning enjoy a panoramic bus tour with a local guide focusing on important Parisian monuments.

  • In the afternoon visit the Louvre Museum.

  • Enjoy dinner at a typical Parisian crêperie.

DAY 4: PARIS

  • Travel by RER to Versailles to visit the lavish palace built by the “Sun King”, Louis XIV.

  • Return to Paris for a cooking lesson with a local chef. Enjoy your creations at Dinner.

DAY 5: LOIRE VALLEY

  • 
Transfer to the Loire Valley via Chartres to view it’s gothic cathedral.

  • Visit the town of Amboise, and the impressive Château Royal d'Amboise.

  • Dinner and overnight in Loire Valley.

DAY 6: LOIRE VALLEY

  • 
Visit Château de Chenonceau, which spans the River Cher.

  • You will also visit Château de Chambord built as a hunting lodge for Francis I.

  • Overnight in Loire Valley. 



DAY 7: SAINT-MALO

  • Today, visit the Château de Blois where Joan of Arc was blessed by the Archbishop of Reims before driving the English from Orléans.

  • Continue north to Brittany and the port city Saint - Malo.

  • For dinner tonight enjoy a regional dish - moules frites (mussels served with French fries)

DAY 8: SAINT-MALO

  • Explore the magical island of Mont-Saint Michel and the stunning Abbey.

  • Dinner and overnight in St Malo.

DAY 9: CAEN


  • Morning drive to Caen via Bayeux. Here you can view the Bayeux tapestry which tells the story of the Norman conquest of England.

  • Later, visit the Caen Memorial Museum, a centre for history and peace.

  • Dinner.

DAY 10: CAEN


  • Spend the day visiting a variety of WWII sites including: the American Cemetery, Arromanches and Omaha Beach.

  • Dinner.

Day 11: PARIS

  • Drive back to Paris with stops in beautiful seaside Deauville and Honfleur which served as inspiration to Monet and his impressionist contemporaries.

  • Return to Paris and enjoy a Farewell Dinner.

DAY 12: 
RETURN HOME

  • Bid adieu to France as you head to the airport for your return flight to the United States.
